Purpose: The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of self-management training, emotion management and combining these two methods with mothers of female adolescents in Tehran on the sense of belonging to school and comprehensive well-being.
Materials and Methods: The method of this research was a two-group quasi-experimental design with pretest, posttest with control group. The statistical population of this study was all mothers of female adolescents in Tehran in 2018. From among schools in Tehran, 60 mothers of female adolescents with problems related to academic incompatibility were selected by purposive sampling and randomly divided into four groups (three experimental groups). And a control group) were replaced. Comprehensive welfare questionnaire (Keys) and sense of belonging to school (Barry and Betty) were used to collect data. Research data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance with repeated measures.
Findings: The findings of the analysis of research data showed that in comprehensive well-being and a sense of belonging to the school, between the three stages of pre-test, post-test and follow-up (P <0.01) and the two experimental and control groups (P <) There is a significant difference. In the follow-up phase, the effectiveness of the implementation of self-management training packages and emotion management and integration for the comprehensive welfare variables and the sense of belonging to the school continued. Therefore, the implementation of self-management, emotion and integration management training package for mothers of female adolescents can reduce their children's moral and educational incompatibility by increasing their overall well-being and sense of belonging to the school. Therefore, it is necessary for experts and psychologists in this field to pay more attention to the psychological dimensions of these trainings.
Conclusion: In explaining these findings, it can be said that if emotions are expressed in an uncontrolled way, not only do they not have biological and social functions, but they are also harmful.
